Detect Money

Establishing my blog money empire

Archive for the ‘Reviews’ Category

I have discovered two free tools to achieve this. First one is LinkedTube to put any affiliate link of your choice to embedded youtube videos. Actually, Google Adsense is already there for most publishers, but it is quite different. We have all the control what will be shown on the surface of youtube videos. If you are a video blogger or using videos heavily in content, why not to try this affiliate link embedding tool and see the results yourself.

The code has a tiny bug that it includes the same object code twice. Anway, I think you can clean it using HTML editor in your wordpress easily. By the time I write this, they will most probably fix this issue.

The second one is BubbleFly. It is a free affiliate code embedding widget again but it seems to be rather old and didn’t work for me.

I couldn’t find any other free websites especially designed achiving this task. Let me know if you know more?

Well, this post will be a shock for master Google PageRank sculptors who want to idealize everything in their blogs in the eyes of Google spiders. After carefully reading Matt Cutts (Google’s official PageRank knight) about his PageRank sculpting article, I have understood that even Google has no final clear answer about this all times hot topic. I will briefly try to tell you about latest changes and important excerpts from Matt Cutts’ comments to the questions.

  1. Matt says that the classical PageRank papers and discussions which you can find and read on Internet freely are too old algorithms and don’t show the complication of current real Google calculations.

These include :Sergey Brin PageRank Paper of Stanford , Google PageRank Matrix

  2. Classical Idealized Understanding of PageRank :Please, notice that it is the old PageRank algorithm. The fact that Google once was working on this principle some years ago.According to following chart, all outgoing links are counted as equal including paid links. So, if a page has a value of 100 like on the top-left with 2 outgoing links, all would get equal value as 50.
  3. Decay Factor : It is invented by Google owners to prevent making people constructing link chains. Imagine you have 10 pages on different 10 blogs, one for each and you put links like a chain and finally putting a link from the last item from the chain to the first. It would end up with an infinite PageRank increase. (See chart below). To prevent this, in every step link loses 10 – 15% of its value in the chain and decays in several steps. So, we can conclude that you should avoid such link chains.
  4. Old NoFollow Algorithm : It was the latest understanding of NoFollow and PageRank before Matt Cutts’ explanation on new algorithm two days ago. Google’s aim was to prevent people buying links to increase Page Rank artificially and keeping search engine results clean from spam and affiliate links. According to this, bloggers were encouraged to use rel=nofollow tag in links where they link to an affiliate website or paid link to not to pass PR value. For example,You have a page with PR value of 100 and you link to 10 other pages. 5 of them are nofollowed. According to this algorithm, you would share 100 points amongst remaining 5 links. So, it is exactly 20 points for each followed. Nofollowed links don’t get any points.  So, it was logical to nofollow all unimportant links. So, even if you had a page with 100 nofollow links, you did not lose any points to remaining ones. Please note that we didn’t include decay factor here because the exact details are unknown to the public.
  5. Brand new Google PageRank Algorithm : Here comes Matts’ shocking explanation.Let’s take the same example. A page with PR value of 100, 10 total links, 5 of them are nofollowed. As usual 5 nofollowed links don’t get any points. But, you lose these nofollowed points and remaining points are divided amongst following links. So, say bye bye to 50 points at first hand. Then remaining links get each 10 points. It means that, if you have a page with lots of links whether they are nofollowed or not, you lose!

The direct implication of this behaviour that a page with less links are better. We can naturally ask this. Should I close the comments at all because they will eat my rankings? There is no clear answer from Matt yet about it. :) I will inform you about incoming feedbacks from him.

  6. Using NoFollow on Privacy Policy, About Us pages etc : Matt clearly says in comments that we should not use nofollow on any of internal pages including these. Shock answer to many SEO fans.
  7. Using NoFollow on Amazon Affiliate links : I didn’t answer still a clear answer on this eventhough, there are much questions. We will keep on asking :) I actually apply half of these links with nofollow to keep looking them natural.
  8. Using NoFollow on Paid Links : Yeah, it continues to be valid. NoFollow your paid links and even better do not lose time and energy to write sponsored reviews at all. Developing a really SEO powered niche website is better in the long run like Best iPhone Cases
  9. Using NoFollow on Feeds : Matt suggests using nofollow on feeds because it is another environment and doesn’t affect how your feeds will be found. He does for its own blog like this.
  10. And let’s finish my article with a funny linkbaiting video from SeoFastStart about latest shiny PR changes : Here is Google Operation Bendover :) Have a nice profitable make money online and affiliate marketing day !

I know many bloggers who have written sponsored reviews for payday loans each day obsessively using services like sponsored reviews, payperpost, smorty, blogsvertise, linkworth etc. I believe now that my fellow Philippine bloggers know more about payday loans than many US citizens. Anyway, I was one of those writing obsessives, I didn’t know a single word at first, but gained quite knowledge after writing around at least 40 posts in multiple blogs during the year! Have your ever thought why it is so popular and advertisers are willing to pay money to spread buzz around their websites? The answer is straightforward. They make huge, really huge money because of loan commission rates. Eventhough there is competition you can still get your share on this market if you concentrate on it and show the obsession to market your payday loan affiliate website instead of writing for paid posts. Honestly, I didn’t try making money with payday loans yet because I didn’t have time but know some bloggers who are making a good extra income using it. Why not to try?

First, I will briefly explain what the payday loans in other words cash advance loans are for those who didn’t hear about them. If you know it, just skip this paragraph please and continue with the affiliate program. Payday loan is a quite popular solution to short term money needs whatever the reason can be; unpaid bills, money for repair, or even shopping.  These services pay around $1000 overnight to the applicant’s bank account. Simple to apply online and get approved. Minimum income, US citizenship, bank account and being over 18 years old. That’s it. No faxes, bad credit ok, easy application fast approval. Enough saying, let’s continue explain how you can become an affiliate.

There are lots of payday loan services but I will explain why you should choose PaydayOne Payday Advance Affiliate Program. The first thing I do for every affiliate program is to check their Alexa rankings, Google Pagerank, the website design and cookie time. Alexa ratings are around 50,000. It means traffic, so potential to convert into customers. Pagerank is high at 4, so it has good backlinks. The website looks professional to trust. And finally it has a 60-day cookie life, which means that customer information is held for 60 days in their computers and if they decide to get payday loan from the website during the 60 days you get paid. Additionally, it is a trusted Payday lending service, based in the US and state licensed.

You are getting paid $25 for every new customer which completes the application, accepted and get the loan. By the nature of payday loans, you can assume that once they apply they are accepted. So, the mission is to drive targeted traffic to your blog post, banner or custom made website whatever with your affiliate link embedded inside. Commission Checks paid monthly on accounts earning a minimum of $100 commission. So, once you begin you shouldn’t give up until you reach the minimum payout.

Final words, I now registered with them and provide you some sample banners below as well with my affiliate links inside. Short term money need? Use my banners below. LOL !

Important Update 17.08.2008 :

I think they don’t accept new bloggers more to the system because all the ads slots are full. Thanks for everyone who joined. You can try other opportunities listed on my blog for extra income while I discover new ones :)

Fast Cash for Bloggers Freebies4Webmasters is an easy income advertising network which uses direct link placement method which will pay you £5 monthly by PayPal for placing their high quality 468×60 text links on the bottom of your selected 3 pages.

I have been just accepted with my Gadget blog and replaced the codes in the bottom of these 3 pages. You can see these high quality ads on these pages.

You will receive your free £10 payment when your first banner goes live on these three pages of your website or blog. After that you will receive monthly £5 payments to your PayPal account if they are still there. Another £5 bonus is available if you implement the ads within 72 hours after approval to the program.

As you know, a referral program is a good encouragement for making more money. If you bring another blogger to the network which implements the codes you get £10. There are no limits on how many bloggers you can refer and how many websites you can add for advertisements.

And my final opinion. Actually, I was hesitant to join at first but after seeing that the ads are from a respected UK website I was persuaded that it is not a scam. Freebies4Webmasters uses an effective selected advertisement tactics for the advertiser because each application is approved by editors. Try to choose your best pages with content when you submit your application. I was approved after 2 days of application. If you have any questions please comment on this article. I will try to help you.
